Drivers and cars are essentially to the running of pretty well all of the trips the club runs. It is appropriate that they are properly compensated for the cost of bringing their car on the trip, including not just petrol but running costs such as maintenance and registration. The club has established the following guideline for reimbursements for drivers. This is a guideline only. Although these rates are used for big trips where money is collected from participants at the pretrip (e.g. Huge Days Out, Bluies Extravaganza), leaders are free to calculate different amounts by agreement with the drivers and trip participants.
