This is a fantastic opportunity for adventurous souls to explore a relatively untouched region. A fully self sufficient expedition, we plan to explore the southern region of Kyrgyzstan cycling from Bishkek to Osh via Lake Issyk Kul. It will not be predominantly cycling, we plan to do some hiking too in certain regions. The specific route is not established yet. We'll develop that when participants are finalised.

We also anticipate spending 2 weeks in Uzbekistan to visit the exotic outposts of the old silk road.

This is an expedition not without risk and we are looking for people who are aware of, accept and prepare for challenges of spending two months in a remote region with little communication, infrastructure and resources.

Me and Simone Ward have purchased tickets for $1800 each ex Sydney. We anticipate perhaps a budget of $1000 total spending money on top of that.
