Hi

The aim of this weekend is too spend 3 days climbing in a very nice place.

No long walk no hassle.

Various grade and top roping possible as well.

Transport:
Car sharing to organize between the participants.

When to come and when to come back??
I think it could be great to drive there Friday evening and come back Monday evening.
However, it is still possible to leave Canberra Saturday morning. If you have to work on Monday, it is possible to try to organize that as well (depending on the drivers)
This issue has to be discussed and sorted out by email or at the pretrip.

Accommodation:
Camping is easy and not far from the cliff.
Details in the guidebook, and soon on your favorite ANUMC website.

Food and drinks:
BYO.
Please come with all the food you need to avoid the hassle of having to go back to town to get some.
Beer and wine are welcome (with moderation :-)

Climbing skills:
I am sorry but I am not a climbing instructor. It will be a nicer and safer trip for everybody if EACH CLIMBER IS INDEPENDENT.
This means NO SIGNUPS FROM PEOPLE WITHOUT ANY OUTDOOR CLIMBING EXPERIENCE and/or who doesn't know how to belay a leader safely. You also have to be able to ABSEIL ALONE AND WITH CONFIDENCE.

What to bring:
gear for camping and gear for climbing.
Do not expect a detailled list from me... I m not your mother... You are supposed to know all of that... :-)
Ask an experienced person if you are not sure what to bring.

Options:
if you are a surfer you can come too, you will surf in the morning and climb in the afternoon. Idem if you are a fisherman.
In case of excessive wind or bad weather on the coast it is still possible to go to Nowra or Nerriga.

PreTrip:
I hope it will be possible to organize that trip by email and without the hassle of a pretrip meeting.
If we have to organize a trip meeting it will probably in a pub an evening during next week.
More info later about this topic.

Gear:
bring everything you have!!!
NO CLIMBER WITHOUT HELMET- borrow one yourself from the club (same for harnesses and shoes).
I will borrow static ropes from the club and other useful gear.
Let me know the gear you have by email - so I know what to borrow from the club.

Overall difficulty:
Medium
